Citadel of Saladin:

Built by Saladin the first ruler of Ayyubid between 1176-1183 to protect the city from Crusader attacks.

Mohamad Ali Mosque:

The mosque is a key landmark, offering panoramic city views and holding historical and religious significance.

Egyptian Museum:

Houses the largest collection of Egyptian antiquities in the world. Among its masterpieces are Pharoh Tutankhamun's treasure, including its iconic gold burial mask.

St. Simon 'The Tanner Monastery:

One of the largest churches not only in Egypt but also in the Middle East.

Ancient City of Memphis:

Capital of ancient Egypt and an important centre during much of Egyptian history.

Sakkara Step Pyramid:

It's the earliest colossal stone building in Egypt and the first pyramid ever constructed of ancient Egypt.

Great Sphinx of Giza:

The legendary guardian statue with the body of a lion and the head of King Chephren.

A historic market in Cairo, known for its lively atmosphere and narrow streets.

Take a domestic flight from Cairo to Hurghada. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for check-in. After a short rest, proceed for desert safari on 4WD.

HURGHADA - LUXOR - NILE CRUISE (B/L/D)

Karnak Temple:

Built as a cult temple and was dedicated to the gods Amun, Mut and Khonsu.

Luxor Temple:

Dedicated to the rejuvenation of kingship and may have been the site of pharaoh coronations.

Nile Cruise:

Transfer to the dock and embark on the Nile Cruise which is where you will be staying for the next 4 nights.

NILE CRUISE EDFU (B/L/D)

Valley of the Kings:

The valley became a royal burial ground for pharaohs such as Tutankhamun, Seti I and Ramses II.

Return to the ship and continue to sail to Edfu via Esna Lock.

Not just a temple; it's a bold architectural and political statement by Hatshepsut, Egypt's first female pharaoh.

Alabaster factory:

Where local craftsmen produce handmade alabaster items using ancient techniques.

Colossi of Memnon:

Are two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep seated on a throne and hands resting on knees.

Return to the ship and continue to sail to Edfu via Esna Lock.

Temple of Horus (aka Edfu Temple) by horse carriage:

Pompey's Pillar:

A massive ancient Roman triumphal column notable for being one of the tallest single-piece columns ever erected in the Roman Empire.

New Library of Alexandria:

One of the largest and significant libraries of the ancient world. The library was part of a larger research institution called the Mouseion, which was dedicated to the Muses, the nine goddesses of the arts.
